• The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Management (DEM), the state's primary land management and natural resource planning agency, oversees the state forest and park system, including Mt. Greylock State Reservation.  Its website provides general information about the Reservation and its history.

• Joint program of the USDA Forest Service and US Army Corps of Engineers, providing a one-stop resource for customers to reserve camping facilities managed by these two agencies, including Mt. Greylock State Reservation.

Nature's Classroom     www.naturesclassroom.org

• Nature's Classroom operates Bascom Lodge in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Management (DEM).  Nature's Classroom offers hands-on, interdisciplinary, environmental education for students and teachers.  Its goal is to help children truly appreciate the natural and human-made communities in which they live.  Nature's Classroom also provides services to adults with professional development courses for educators, youth leaders, corporate managers, and others.
